Heroes Renewed for Second Season!

It?s impressive when a first year drama gets a super early renewal. Man I can?t wait for Monday so that new episodes can start again. There were also hints dropped at the winter press tour that NBC may have asked ?Heroes? creator Tim Kring to do a spin-off of the show.

Other shows also renewed: ?My Name is Earl,? Survivor,? Rachel Ray?s Show (renewed until 2010), and ?Ugly Betty.?

Also word on the street is that ?Scrubs? will come back for a final season. If for some reason NBC decides not to renew it, Touchstone (owners of the show and ABC) will bring it to ABC. The only thing up in air is whether Zach Braff who?s contract runs out.

Rachel Ray until 2010?!? That’s nuts! I’ve not seen her show, but I’ve seen her Food Network stuff and I always thought she came across as super fake. Craig can’t stand her, he’s not sure why, but he says there’s just something about her he can’t stand. I think she’s a total bitch in real life and just fakes that nice, cheery personality when the cameras are on.

But awesome for Earl and Heroes and The Office. We’ll see if Survivor makes the cut this time around – there were too many other good shows on during the last season so I didn’t watch it for the first time.
