As a birthday gift, Samantha got us tickets to see Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. So last night we hit up Baltimore and were excited for the “Circus of Dreams.” It started and we found out that there was an overall narrative to it. It seems a “family from the audience” is picked to be in the circus to have their dreams come true. The father became the ringmaster. The wife a trapeze artist. The daughter a slut …errr I mean dancer. And Dan, the son, was on a quest to find his place in the circus.

Well Samantha and I never found out where Dan fit into the circus. You see the event was the worse event her and I have ever attended. We were forced to leave our seats and demand our money back!circusseats.JPG

You see it all started when we got to our seats and found out that the lighting rigs were low and blocked almost all of the arena. But that was ok. We could still sorta see and it was Samantha’s fault too for buying cheap tickets. We more or less found it funny.

In our section with us was a Mom, Dad, and their daughter. Other than that it was completely empty. The cool thing about that was that we could just chill and stretch out without feeling cramped or crowded.

Well about ten minutes into the show everything went to hell. It seems the show was sold out except for our section and they decided to sell every last seat at once. So for the next thirty minutes there was non-stop people entering. The first problem was that now we couldn’t see ANY of the circus. What wasn’t blocked by the lights was blocked by the people entering and trying to find their seats.

The next problem was that the people were TRASH. They were rude. They were violent. I was kicked in the head numerous times. I got slammed by a purse. It sucked!

When Samantha and I demanded our money back there was another family doing the same thing because the pregnant mom was pushed down stairs! There weren’t ushers trying to keep things under control or anything! It was like a freaking riot.

It was a horrible horrible experience and it wasn’t the circus’ fault. It was the 1st Mariner Arena people who decided to sell out a WHOLE section after the show started!
