The problem with “The Incredible Hulk” trailers is that they show the whole movie. In fact, based on the two trailers I’ve put together a plot breakdown. Now I don’t know for sure what is going to happen in the movie, so nothing below is an actual spoiler, just speculation based on the trailers. However beware…

“Incredible Hulk” opens with Bruce Banner living living in South America.

He’s there trying to solve his Hulk-problem with science.

Although he’s out of the U.S. he’s still keeping track of Betty Ross and knows she’s now teaching at a college.

General Ross and Solider Boy (don’t know the character’s name) track Bruce down.

There is a foot chase across the city.

Eventually the soldiers chase Bruce to a warehouse district where he finally goes Hulk and kicks ass. Soldier Boy is embarrassed at failing and vows to never fail again.

With all his research destroyed and no one else to turn to, Bruce travels back to the U.S. (on foot) to seek out Betty.

Bruce and Betty reunite on a country-style bridge during a rainy night.

The two of them, along with one of Betty’s co-workers at the college, spend a good 15-20 minutes trying to solve the Hulk problem with science. This is where a lot of the character-relationship stuff is fleshed out between Betty and Bruce.

During the sequence mentioned above, they do a lot of test and everything is about SCIENCE.

When things get frustrating (because science isn’t working), Betty talks Bruce into seeing a shrink. This is the first time Bruce gets the idea that if science won’t work then maybe psychology will help him with his Hulk problem.

General Ross and Soldier Boy track down Bruce and there is a chase scene across campus.

The soldiers trap Bruce on a catwalk and provoke him into Hulking-out.

Bruce Hulks-Out!

Not only does Hulk kick ass but he completely and utterly humiliates Soldier Boy. He’s now failed twice and his furious.

Betty and Hulk escape together and decide to lay low in the mountains.

Meanwhile General Ross approaches Soldier Boy and convinces him to become super powered to take on Hulk.

General Ross goes against his boss’s orders and really power’s up Soldier Boy.

Soldier Boy starts to become The Abomination.

Back in the Mountains, Betty and Bruce found a log cabin. In the cabin they work with psychology/mediation to help Bruce further control The Hulk.

They also do the nasty.

For some reason, Betty and Bruce return to the city and Bruce is finally captured.

Soon after, The Abomination goes crazy and starts tearing up the city.

Bruce convinces Ross that the only thing that can stop The Abomination is The Hulk and says that he can now control The Hulk better than ever before.

Bruce, after kissing Betty, jumps out of a helicopter to transform into The Hulk.

The Hulk and Abomination go at it.

The Hulk wins and the movie has some sort of epilogue scene. Whatever the scene is it shows that Bruce still isn’t master over The Hulk but in a sense has found peace and can live in a sort of truce/union with his other half.
Soldier Boy is Emil Blonsky.
Nicely done. And probably done with more thought than the actual script writers.
of course Nick Fury will appear after credits and talk with Banner about Avengers Inititive
