I did a very crazy thing over the weekend. I canceled my Netflix subscription! Well technically, I put my account on “hold,” which means I can still search and change stuff around in my queue, but I can’t watch movies online and I don’t get movies shipped to me. Why did I do this?

Because in almost five years I’m out of stuff to watch. I used to have old TV shows in my queue I had never seen mixed with new release. But now it’s just new releases and they don’t come out fast enough to keep up with my viewing habits. So I’m putting my account on “hold” for a few months so that the new releases pile-up and then I’ll reactivate the account.
