The White House now has an official flickr account. Alot of the photos are clearly posed, but some are candid and the overall aestics are nice.
“Stuff of Legend” is Previews Staff Pick
April 29th, 2009 | by Scott King
Preview’s Staff Pick for May is our Free Comic Book Day book “Stuff of Legend.” I’m telling you… you HAVE to pick up on Saturday!!!

I did an expirment yesterday. I timed how long it took me to reach Twitter’s limit rate of “1000″ new follows a day. It took me about an hour and twenty minutes, which is a lot faster than I thought it would. Also It cut me off at 941 new follows instead of their supposed “1000.” I video taped and screen captured the whole thing, so hopefully by the end of the week (or maybe this weekend) I’ll have a mini-documentry put together.

I’m re-posting my “Lost” re-cap just encase any of you missed it last week. Also, make sure you tune in tonight for the show’s 100th episode where we are supposed to learn tons of juicy mythos! ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Christian Bale Contractually Obligated to another “Batman” movie
April 29th, 2009 | by Scott King
/Film is reporting that Christan Bale is contractually obligated to another batman movie, even if Christopher Nolan doesn’t direct.
It appears that Bale’s Lawyers have since explained that he has a contract because the Dark Knight star now admits to Total Film that “The fact is, I have to! I’ve signed up! Chris doesn’t. So I’m in a bit of a fix if he says he doesn’t want to!” I think everyone expects for Nolan to do another Batman sequel after he finishes work on Inception, but Chris has still not committed to a third film, and I’m surprised at just how patiently Warner Bros is being with their big comic book franchise.

This is crazy. Obama’s nominee for the ‘regulatory czar’ wants a “Fairness Doctrine” for the internet. Guess he’s never heard of “Free Speech” before:
A “Fairness Doctrine” for the Internet that would require opposing opinions be linked and also has suggested angry e-mails should be prevented from being sent by technology that would require a 24-hour cooling off period.

“Heroes” let go Greg Breeman(on the left), a producer/director of the show who has been around since the first season and also runs the popular “Beaming Beeman” blog:
You see, I will not be returning to HEROES for Season 4. Ultimately this was a financially motivated decision made by NBC. They no longer want to have a Producer/Director position on the show. But it coincides well with my own innate wanderlust, and so, while sad to leave so many friends and comrades, I am excited for the future.
New “Terminator Salvation” (the game) Previews

Reviews are rolling in for “Stuff of Legend.” Make sure you pick up a copy on Saturday for free!
The art is so extraordinary I’m not sure what I can say about it. It’s child storybook art, the award winning kind, highly detailed and lush, that expertly shifts tone from the “real” world and the toys in their inert form, and the evocative fantasy world where they are as close to flesh and blood as they get. Everything in this comic seems to breathe; the art is alive, in at least one manner of speaking. The sepia toned colors just enhance the experience. I would give this art a ten rating if I could – five doesn’t seem nearly high enough. Gorgeous work.
