After Jeffster, the fictional band from NBC’s “Chuck,” rocked Comic-Con, I figured I had a moral obligation to talk to Vik Sahay about it. So I did! (Read on …)

I tried desperately to warn you. “Stuff of Legend” has unofficially sold out. I say “unofficially” cause I’m not sure how we are formally announcing it. If you’re trying to jump on the bandwagon of AWESOME and are looking for a copy, local comic shops have them. Your best bet is to call around and call fast. Another option is to order a Boogeyman Edition (2nd printing):
The Boogeyman edition showcases Charles Paul Wilson III original Stuff of Legend artwork in this limited black and white penciled edition. Additionally this version of the book has all of the original gore and violence of the series before some of it was toned down. These books are limited to 500 copies and each is numbered.
The cover to the Boogeyman edition is a sketch variant of the picture above.

I’ll make this simple for you. BUY THE GAME! …or if you are snob and need details on why “King of Fighters XII” is so much fun, keep reading. (Read on …)

It’s true, stores across the country are selling out of “Stuff of Legend.” If you don’t want a reprint you better hurry and call your local comic shop!

Charisma Carpenter will be showing her bitchiness skill in the season premier of “Legend of the Seeker.” She’ll be playing Triana, a leather-clad Mord’Sith warrior woman who inflicts pain. No word yet on if this is a one time thing or if she could return for multiple episodes.

Franka Potente (Run, Lola, Run; The Bourne Identity) is joining “House” for this season’s 2 hour premier. No word on if she will be a doctor, patient, mental person, or a figment of House’s imagination.

HBO now sells “True Blood” (I’m forcing myself not to make some sort of fang/lips/blood pun).

Both Micheal Weston and Dr. Hank Lawson will be returning next year. USA picked up “Burn Notice” and “Royal Pains” for another season. This should be no surprise since “Burn Notice” has been killing in ratings and “Royal Pains” is made for cheap in-house by USA.

Universal has greenlit a 3D animated adaption of “The Lorax.” This has me concerned since the original animated adaption is my all time favorite Seuss-ian thing in the world. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in 2012.
The “9″ (being released on 9/9/09) launched a new sweepstakes this week called “The Talisman Challenge.” If you are new to all the fun viral marketing going on with the movie (we are high quality “Lost” style type of pr) it’s pretty simple:
A few weeks back, the Scientist was forcibly removed from his laboratory and interrogated. Upon returning to his lab, the Scientist realized that the Chancellor’s men had seized a collection of designs vital to his research. One of these designs holds the key to his next phase of development.
The designs have been shredded… torn into 9 pieces, scattered in 9 secret locations. We must find all 9 pieces and put them back together to reveal a secret alchemical code. Only the typewriter on www.9experiment.com can help decode the hidden message from the designs. Those who find all 9 hidden pieces and use the typewriter to decipher the code will be treated to another fantastic piece of 9” movie art, and can enter for a chance to win a pair of the Limited Edition 9” Shoes from Pony, as well as other great 9” movie prizes.
Wanna know more about The Scientist, make sure you checkout the official facebook page. Also, if you’re already tracking down clues, the type-writer pictured above is one.

That’s right! On 8/4 you can play as your favorite Joe in “Rise of Cobra: The Game!”
Game Description: YO JOE! Suit up, grab your gear and prepare to lock and load as you take control of the elite G.I. JOE™ team and fight the evil forces of COBRA™! Go beyond the blockbuster movie and experience new surprises, storylines and epic battles in G.I. JOE™ The Rise of Cobra™ The Game from Electronic Arts.
I so hope Sergeant Slaughter’s Triple ‘T’ makes an easter egg type cameo.

Today is the day! “Stuff of Legend” book one hits the shelves. So even if you didn’t pre-order head down to your local comic shop and pick up a copy. If they are sold out, then make them order one for you. This book is that good. Don’t believe me? Check out the preview.
