Leonard and Penny Don’t Work

I am not feeling Leonard and Penny on “Big Bang Theory.” They just don’t have chemistry.

You know who does? Penny and Sheldon! That episode last season when Sheldon was sick was amazing. Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco riff off each other in a very Monica/Chandler opposites attract kind of way. Because “Big Bang Theory” is a sitcom there is no way Penny and Leonard will be together long, but hopefully a season or so down the road she’ll hook up with Sheldon.

Drea Dematteo on “Desperate Housewives”

I’ve never been a fan of Drea Dematteo. She’s just dirty looking and her characters have always been the same. However, I really liked her on “Desperate Housewives.” In the one group scene with all the other wives she brought a different dynamic we’ve not had on the show before. Sure her family-secret-storyline is dumb, but hopefully they’ll dump that early on and we’ll see more interaction with the other characters.

“Wallace & Gromit & the Loaf of Death” Review

It’s been almost four years since we’ve had a new “Wallace and Gromit”  so needless to say I was crazy excited to watch the new short. My only complaint? It’s 29 minutes. Otherwise it’s the same kind of awesome that W&G fans have come to love.

“Superman/Batman: Public Enemies” Review

“Public Enemies” was bad, like “Superman Doomsday” bad. The animation was ugly and the shading made it look like everyone had stars on their faces. So unless you are a hardcore geek who will watch it no matter what anyone says, avoid it.
