iPad Sucks

So Apple’s big reveal is a larger version of the ipod touch that costs between $500 – $830, depending on if you go wi-fi or 3G? Lame. My Hackintosh netbook runs full snow leopard and only cost $300.

Totally stole this from Gizmodo:
And of course here were my own comments on the subject:

Seriously? Like “Fringe” hasn’t already stolen enough from “X-Files,” now they have a rip-off of The Black Oil?! What the hell! I’m seriously considering dropping the show.
Every week is a bad freak-of-the-week episode and if they ever touch on the overall mythos of the series it’s lightly or simply revisiting info we already know. What happened? “Fringe” had sooo much potential.

No surprise. ABC let word leak yesterday that Betty is being put to sleep.

“The Stuff of Legend” is now listed under Random House’s catalog (It will be on sale in April).

Bones used to be one of those shows I enjoyed. It was funny and more character driven. However every freaking episode this season has been some sort of weird stunt episode. The “Avatar” episode was bad enough but did they realllyyyy need to do one trying to prove if JFK was killed by one or two shooters? No, they didn’t.

What is going on with “24.” The show is getting so filled with filler that they should rename it “Flash Forward.”

Trying to catch-up before the season premiere? Then make sure you watch/dvr season five’s finale tonight at 9 on ABC. Then my full write-up of “The Incident” can be found here.

I have to confess that it too me three times to make it through last night’s season premiere. I always forget that “Damages” is one of those shows you can’t fast forward or simply have on in the background. You NEED to watch it. And HOLY CRAP! (spoilers after the break) (Read on …)

I made a firefox persona. I wanted something coffee related but in all the other ones the text was impossible to read so I made my own.

I really enjoyed the “Planet Hulk” book so I expected to hate the animated movie, however the cartoon turned out to be pretty entertaining. For obvious reasons, the movie isn’t as dark as the book, but I was still surprised by the amount of blood and gore.
Even better is that the movie isn’t an hour and thirty minutes of bad fighting (like that stupid “Wolverine Vs.” movie). The plot stays true to the book and the time is taken to really flesh out the supporting cast. Overall, “Planet Hulk” was a fun watch. I don’t know if I’d recommend buying it, but it’s definitely worth renting if you’re a fan of the book.

The “Fail Whale” is a twitter thing and the above image has been making the rounds over the past few days.

There is now a glitch in “MW2″ that allows players to drop an infinite number of care packages. So once again the game has become unplayable. What the hell? First it was the javelin glitch, then private matches, then infinite ammo, then super speed and now this? Basically the game hasn’t been playable for months and it’s seriously frustrating. It’s gotten so bad that I don’t even play anymore because it’s impossible to get into normal glitch-free games.

“Greek” returns tonight on ABC Family and is an amazing show. If you like a mix of comedy with romance and angst there is nothing better on TV. It’s simply fun. So if you’ve not checked it out, tonight is a great night do so!

The pilot of “The Deep End” was bad. The whole thing felt ridiculously contrived as if the show were trying way too hard to be “Grey’s Anatomy.” Plus not a single character was likeable or relateable. Then if you factor in the rattings it got, it’s looking like there is no chance in hell it will get a second season. Avoid “The Deep End.”
