Oise bit into the olive and peanut butter sandwich and then passed it back to Joey. Faerie taste buds are different from humans. Where Joey tasted creamy sweetness with a salty twist, Oise felt the most amazing thing he had ever tried. The feeling that ran through his green two-foot body was like the smell of a spring storm, the warm embrace of a loved one, or seeing a puppy trip and do a somersault. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

Was going away this weekend but because of the predicted 12-18 inches of snow up north I’m peacing out early. A FridayFlash will auto-post tomorrow and I’ll see ya’ll again on Monday when TV returns and the stupid Olympics are over!

Another week and another hour closer we are to seeing how everything ends. My full write-up is after the break. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

I kind of just put on “Crisis on Two Earths” while cleaning and wasn’t going to watch it, but 10 minutes into it I stopped scrubbing and was full engrossed into the movie.
If you’re any kind of comic book fan then the movie is worth checking out. There is a plot that makes sense. Certain characters have arcs. There is tons of actions. My only complaint is that I have problems watching an animated version of Batman who isn’t voiced by Kevin Conroy.

Are the Olympics over yet? It’s freaking February sweeps and it’s seriously screwing with the normal TV schedule!

I was worried because “Greek,” one of my favorite TV shows currently on TV, was on the line for getting canceled, but luckily ABC Family picked it up for another 10 episodes!

Her palms were sweaty. She considered wiping them on her jeans but was worried they’d leave a mark. Blind dates made her nervous. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

I love Ricky Gervais and I thoroughly enjoyed “The Ricky Gervais Show” podcasts. However I absolutely hate HBO’s revamp of the podcast.
All they did was edit them down some and add animations. The jokes are all old and most of the animations are nothing more than talking heads. If you are really interested in checking this out then get the podcast and listen to them when exercising or driving. Avoid the HBO abomination.
International Space Station adds TIE Fighter

Is it just me or does the new Cupola addition to the international space station look like it was ripped straight from a TIE Fighter?
“Funny or Die” has spun into a new sketch series on HBO. From what I can tell in the preview above it seems to be a lot of classic sketches re-shot with real actors.

The whole premise to “Halo Legends” is dumb. Basically they tried to do the “Animatrix” only it doesn’t work. This would’ve been much better if there was a consistent storyline instead of random stories set in the Halo universe. Sure the animation and overall quality is pretty, but unless you’re a hardcore Halo fan there is no point wasting your time with this anthology.

I think tonight’s episode was much better than both the premier and last week’s Kate-centric-snooze fest. My full write-up is after the break. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

I was asked this week via email about how I do my “Lost” write-ups. There really isn’t a trick. I just watch the episode and keep notes. Then I watch it a second time (skimming) right before I do my writing. A sample of my notes is found after the break. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
