The biggest problem I have with this photo is the stupid parsley. It got bent and I didn’t notice until I was in lightroom looking at the photos. Then of course there is also that capper that rolled off the fish. Platting is annoying lol!
For lighting I used a softbox with reflectors.
One thing I wasn’t sure about how to handle is the sauce. There’s none in this photo because when I tried to plate the dish with the sauce on top of the fish it ran EVERYWHERE and looked like an utter mess. So I decided to go with a quick clean shot. If I had an assistant I could have them pour the sauce while I took the picture, but since I was on my own I went dry.
