OH heck yeah! I got these in the mail from the penclier on “Holiday Wars.” They are sketch cards we are going to sell this weekend at the Baltimore Comic Con and they are amazing. I want to frame them and keep them all to myself.
We only have a limited number for Baltimore, so if you want one you need to make sure you find me ASAP at the convention. I’ll be at the Th3rd World booth! I’m heading out today so the blog will be quiet until I get back (don’t worry, “Holiday Wars” will auto-post at it’s usually scheduled time). Hopefully though I’ll see/meet a lot of you over the weekend.

If there is anyone with a blog who wants to help spread the word about “Holiday Wars,” I’ll mail you a bookmark! Simply do a short plug/write-up and then email me a link with the address you want me to mail the bookmark to (you can get my email address by clicking the “contact” button on the menu bar). If you need any banners, ads, or promo art, let me know!

The Baltimore Comic-Con is next weekend. I’ll be there and at the Th3rd World booth. They’ve not released the table layouts yet, but it’s not a huge show so it won’t be hard to find me. If you’re there make sure you stop by and say ‘hi.’ I’ll answer any “Holiday Wars” related questions as well as have awesome bookmarks!

“Writing Webcomics” is a new interview series I plan on running every week. So for this first installment I thought we should start with a bang by talking to the creator of “The SuperFogeys,” Brock Heasley. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

We got these made to give out as a promotional item at conventions (free with the purchase of any Th3rd World book or product), but just encase there are any hardcore fans who REALLY want one you can get it here for $1 (shipping is included and I’ll sign it!).

Since I’ll be attending both the Baltimore Comic-Con (Aug. 28 & 29) and SPX (Sept. 11 & 12) I wanted to have something “Holiday Wars” related, so we decided to do bookmarks! The pics above are some roughs the penciler did. We may or may not be using some of them (can’t spill too much too yet!).

Remember the headshots I found last week and shared? I got them back from the colorist and they look pretty good. I’m thinking they would make great avatars.

This past Sunday was National Ice Cream Day (seriously, Ronald Regan declared it back in 84!) so I spent it with the girlfriend making ice cream in a bag. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

I was looking for a file I had misplaced and I discovered these headshots that the penciler for “Holiday Wars” had done. I had completely forgotten he did these. This is the main cast and I’m totally sending them to the colorist so he can work his magic on them.

It’s time! You can finally read “Holiday Wars.” Once you do, make sure you bookmark it’s home page and then check back in every Tuesday and Thursday!

One more day until “Holiday Wars” launches and this is your final sneak peek! I can’t say too much about these guys other than that they all show up in episode 62.
