“The Plan” tries to tell the cylon’s story from the recent reboot, but unilaterally fails. The main reason it sucks? Because there was no plan! The Cylons should’ve been portrayed as master strategist on level with Ben Linus, but instead this movie shows them floundering around like idiots.
If the lack of a plot wasn’t a deal breaker story telling is. The movie is clearly written only for the most hardcore of fans. It jumps all over the place and constantly references old sub-plots that never really mattered. Even more frustrating is that half of the movie is re-used footage so you’re barely getting anything new out of it.
It’s a shame because after the lackluster ending of the series, “The Plan” could’ve really redeemed the show, but instead it leaves more questions than answers and the things it does answer are meaningless.

We now know when it will end! The final episode of “BSG” is being broken into three one-hour parts. The first hour-long part will air in its normal timeslot of March 13 at 10 p.m. ET on SciFi Channel, followed by a two-parter March 20 beginning at an earlier 9 p.m. to account for the two hours. For fans who don’t want to wait between episodes, SciFi Channel plans to re-air the March 13 episode at 8 p.m. ET on March 20, allowing those who want to watch it straight through to do just that, a SciFi Channel spokeswoman tells SyFy Portal.

As “Battlestar Galactica” winds down it’s biggest problem becomes more and more blatantly obvious: There was no game plan. The fact that there hasn’t been a master plan is clear enough to anyone watching the show, but if you still have doubt, Ronald Moore admits to it in this interview (I’ve cut the name of the final cylon to prevent spoilers):
But I think XXXX’s name was kicking around the office in terms of “Well, who could the remaining Cylon be? Maybe it would be XXXX.” And we put in the name and said, “Yeah, that might be cool. Maybe we’ll get back to that someday.” And it wasn’t really until after we had decided to reveal four of the final five in that season finale that it became a more pressing question. And then, in between the season break, we went on a writers’ retreat and talked about everything in detail, and XXXX was the primary candidate to be the fifth Cylon.
Not propperly setting up twists and reveals make them feel fake or like bad sweep stunts. They didn’t even know who the final cylon was until they were half way through this final season! That’s just irrisponsible and it’s why “battlestar Galactica” isn’t even a fraction of what “Lost” is.

Sci-Fi put togehter a 13 minute recap leading up to the final run of “Battlestar Galactica.” For a re-cap it actually does a decent job of explaining. Way better than those crappy things ABC does for “Lost.”

It’s official. “Caprica” has been greenlit as a prequel series to follow up “Battlestar Galactica.” The new show will be set 50 years in the past and will focus on the original Cylon/Human war.
“We want people to come to this who have never heard of ‘Battlestar Galactica,’ ” he added. “I think, because (‘Galactica’s') backdrop was space and spaceships, there was a barrier to entry for some viewers. ‘Caprica’ has none of that. It’s an intense family drama set on an Earthlike planet, in the near future, speaking to a lot of the ethical dilemmas that we as a human race are going to have to face very shortly.”

Like the “Last Supper” photo that Sci-Fi released earlier this year, they’ve not leaked out the above image saying it offers clues to how “Battlestar Galactica” will end.

Set your calendar. The final 11 episode run of “Battlestar Galactica” starts on Jan. 16th, 2009. This means the show’s series finale will air around March 20th.

The show will start its final run in January ’09.

For months and months, Sci-Fi has been saying that the final ten episodes of “Battlestar Galactica” would air next fall. They lied twice! The show will actually be back for 12 episodes sometime in 2009.

Seriously, who else has been bored out of their minds with the current season of “Battlestar Galactica?” I hoping the show is ending.

We are two-episodes into the final season of “Battlestar Galactica” and I can’t help but think that the show would be 100 times better if it only consisted of scenes with Baltar and the Cylons.

On campus all day but don’t forget the 4th (and final) season premier of “Battlestar Galactica” is tonight.

Watched the two “Battlestar Galactica” specials that are airing all this week on Sci-Fi channel. In the first, the show’s producers basically talk about how smart they are. In the second some tv celebrities/personalities talk about how they obsess over the show. You know what I thought when watching both specials? That “Lost” kicks “Galactica’s” fraking ass!
