We learned this past week that Kitty (Calista Flockhart) on “Brothers & Sisters” has cancer. What the HELL?! First off, cancer and brain tumors are beyond played out on TV shows. So why did the producers decide to dip into that well?
What really gets me is that “Brothers & Sisters” isn’t “Lost” or “Sopranos,” I.E. a show that actually kills off characters. So even if we chose to ignore that fact that Flockhart has years left on her contract, it’s more than obvious that Kitty won’t die. So what’s the point of the storyline? There’s no real conflict because you know in the end she’ll be fine.

One of the original cast members is leaving the show. I’m posting who after the break so don’t keep reading if you don’t want it to be spoiled. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

John Glover, (formely Lionel Luther on “Smallville”) is comming to “Hereos” at the end of the “Fugitive” storyline. He will play Sylar’s and no word yet on how long he will be sticking around. Also durring Febuary sweeps he’ll be showing up on “Brother’s and Sisters” for a multiple episode arc as Saul’s gay boyfriend.

Chevy Chase, who was amazing during his cameo on last week’s “Saturday Night Live” will play a high school teacher who will date Nora (Sally Field) while Steven Webber will play a love interest for Sarah (Rachel Griffiths). Man its all about the hooks up!

I have a lot of favorite shows, but in my defense I watch almost everything that is on TV except for procedural dramas and Reality TV shows. So with the new 2006-2007 TV season kicking off I thought now would be the perfect time to pimp out some awesome shows you’ve probably never watched before. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

Danny Glover has been tapped to play Sally Field’s new love interest in 8 to 10 episodes this season, sources confirm to me exclusively. His character is Senator McCallister’s presidential-campaign manager, and is described as extremely smart and charming but also as a political shark.
