Anyone see the “House” episode that ran after the Super Bowl? Was I the only dork who at first was SURE the episode was taking place on Hoth? I mean from the snow jackets that looked exactly like Han Solo’s to the completely white tundra, how did you watch it, see the guy get hurt, see the doctor show up, and not half expect the doctor to slice open a tauntaun?

House Expands Cast

Olivia Wilde, Kal, Penn, Peter Jacobson, Anne Dudek and Edi Gathegi will make up House’s new interns on “House.” Though it is unknown how long the actors will remain on the show.

In the season finale, House’s interns quit to move onto bigger and better things. The old interns will still remain on the show, but at least for the first few episodes they will be doing their own thing (Think of how Izzie left Seattle Grace but was still on “Grey’s Anatomy” at the start of last season).

Wilde is a FOX casting favorite, having done tours of duty on “Skin” and “The O.C.” Her latest credits are NBC’s short-lived “The Black Donnellys” and the feature “Alpha Dog.”

Penn appeared on four episodes of “24″ last season and also did the pilot “The Call” for ABC this past development run. His feature credits include this spring’s “The Namesake” as well as “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle” and its upcoming sequel.

Jacobson was one of the co-stars of FOX’s “Method & Red” during its brief 2004 run. His other TV credits include “In Justice” and “Law & Order,” while he can also currently be seen on the big screen in the “Transformers” film.

Dudek has been seen in “Big Day” and “Bones,” while Gathegi appeared on “Lincoln Heights” and has a supporting role in the upcoming feature “Gone Baby Gone.”
