Ohhh man, the “How it Should’ve Ended” crew decided to take on “LOST.” You can watch the whole thing here. It’s pretty funny.
Finally catching up on TV shows and when I saw the season finale of “The Simpsons” I noticed the above shout-out to “LOST.” Even weeks later I’m still seriously bummed about it being over.
I’ll probably do a massive write-up in a week or so on “LOST” as a whole. I need more time to digest and think. But here are my first thoughts on last night’s finale. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
I don’t think I’m doing a “LOST” write-up this week. I’ve been looking forward to last night’s episode since it was first announced two months ago, and now I’m nothing but pissed. The episode was crap and a slap in the face to fans. There was virtually nothing we saw last night that we didn’t know. Then all the explanations weren’t really explanations but garbage.
Things we should’ve learned but didn’t:
- Why can’t MiB leave the island prior to being the smoke monster?
- If MiB can’t leave when he was still human how come Jacob can leave to go manipulate the Losties?
- How did the villagers/MiB know that crazy light + water + donkey wheel is how you get off the island?
- If MIB didn’t put the wheel into the slot before his mother knocked him out, and she killed everyone in the camp, who installed the damn wheel?
- Where did CrazyMom come from, and how did she get the power to make Jacob/MiB unable to kill each other?
- What are the rules about how Jacob can die, or how MiB can leave the island, and who determined them?
- How did this whole conflict turn into a question of whether or not people are inherently evil?
- What is the island? (is it a cork keeping evil from spreading, as Jacob said? Or is it the source of all life, as CrazyMom suggested?)
- How can CrazyMom kill a whole village single-handedly but not make a dress she can’t trip over?
- Was ghost mom really MiB’s mom or someone taking her form?
- CrazyMom told them that death was something they would never have to worry about, so how did Jacob kill MiB?
- How did drinking a glass of wine make Jacob the new guardian of the island?
- Is Smokey the MiB or is it Smokey simply taking the MiB’s form?
- WHAT THE HELL IS MiB’s NAME?!!!
Wort episode ever. The producers would’ve been better off resurrecting Nikki and Paulo.

Dark UFO made a post interviewing some of their most common sources about upcoming episodes. None had seen the finale yet so they didn’t have all the answers, but something they said was big enough that ABC had Dark UFO remove the post.
