Here is an awesome interview with Brian Fuller where he spills the beans on what would’ve happened if “Pushing Daises” had a third season:
The Empire Strikes Back. You’re separating R2D2 and C3PO and sending them off into two different directions, and so that was going to be Chuck and Ned. Chuck was going to go off with the father, and Ned was going to try to chase her down. That was the heart of it, and part of the thing that was going to be part and parcel of the third season was Chuck being exposed and what happens when part of your family shows up and says, “Just kidding! I wasn’t murdered on the beach in Aruba.” ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

After “Pushing Daisies” was wrongfully canceled, series creator Bryan Fuller made the jump to NBC “Heroes.” Apparently things weren’t happy behind the scenes because he’s already quit!

EW is reporting that we will finally get to see the series finale of two awesome shows!
* Daisies‘ final three episodes will air May 30 to June 13
* Eli Stone‘s final four episodes will air June 20 to July 11
* Dirty Sexy Money‘s final four episodes will air July 18 to Aug 8.

The show may be over and ABC may never air the final episodes, but you can still see The Piemaker and The Dead Girl by watching the first season of “Pushing Daisies” which is slowly being posted by The WB.

EW reports that Warner Brothers has approved of Bryan Fueller turning “Pushing Daisies” into a comic:
In far happier news, Warner Bros. has give Bryan Fuller the okay to keep Daisies alive in comic book form. Now it’s just a matter of Fuller ironing out all the details with DC Comics. I suspect there will be something official to report by month’s end.
Of course this does not mean for sure that it will be published, but at least we now have some hope as to what happens with The Piemaker and The Dead Girl.

Seems The Piemaker and The Dead Girl will have their story partly wrapped due to ABC giving the show a boost in budget to finish things.
This should do the trick: We’re getting closure, dammit! The series finale will no longer end on a cliffhanger, as I previously reported. Through the magic of post-production, Bryan Fuller and his team managed to tack on a completely new beginning and ending to the episode. “We’re doing a lot of work in post to shape it so that it is satisfying for the audience,” Fuller tells me. BTW, rumor has it ABC may air Daisies‘ final three episodes on one night in early January.

With ABC having passed on picking up additional episodes of “Pushing Daisies” the show is basically dead. Bryan Fuller, the show’s creator and executive producer, said in October that the 13th episode of this season ends in a cliff hanger and should the show get axed he had hopes of continuing it as a comic. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

The rumors have been swirling, but with “Pushing Daisies” being axed it seems Bryan Fuller may be going back to “Heroes.” He had said as much several months ago, but it seems like the move may actually happen.
Fuller, who is wrapping post-production on the final episodes of “Daisies’” 13-episode second-season order, would officially come on board “Heroes” starting with Episode 20. His exact role though is undetermined though he’s expected to play a key role in the writers room alongside showrunner Tim Kring.

As of right now, “Pushing Daisies” has finished filming 13 episodes for this season and ABC hasn’t even ordered additional scripts. Not only is this a sign that the show may hit the choping block, but it’s a problem for fans because apparently epsidoe 13 ends with a massive cliffhanger. So if you are a fan of The Pie Maker then you better make sure you get everyone you know to watch over the next few weeks.

I’m definitly a fan of “Pushing Daisies” (even though this season has been slightly too quirky for even my taste), but I’m geting seriously annoyed at the recaps. Clearly they are trying to make the show more accessible because randomly throughout the episode the Narrator gives 10-30 second recaps. Well you know what? It’s annoying! If you want to recap the show then do it at the start so i can fast forward! When you put random re-caps throughout the episode you get stuck listening to them over and over gain. GRRRRRR!
The good news? We have a “Pushing Daisies” and “Wonderfalls” crossover coming around episode 10. Yeah!

Stephen Root is joining Pushing Daises for 4 episodes. Little is known about the character he is playing other than he is somehow connected to both Chuck’s and Ned’s father and has a sordid past with Chuck’s aunts.

Debra Mooney (Grandma from “Everwood”) is joining the cast of “Pushing Daisies” for a reoccurring basis. She will play Chi McBrides chain smoking mother and we’ll learn that she’s the bad ass detective who taught her son all his skills.
WGA Strike: Status of Shows
November 6th, 2007 | by Scott King
As the Writer’s Guild Strike commences it means many of our favorite shows will soon be nothing but re-runs. As a result, I’ve compiled a list of some of the shows that are and aren’t affected by the strike (update: a more detailed list can be found here): ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

“Pushing Daisies” becomes the fourth show of the year to receive a full 22 episode order. The first was “Gossip Girl” and the second was “Private Practice” and the third was “Big Bang Theory.”

My favorite sport started this week… yep the 2007-2008 TV season kicked off. So in honor of all the addicting TV we will all be watching between now and May I figure I should point out the top five new shows of the season: ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
