The shows that appear in the list below shouldn’t be a surprise. I make more posts about them than any others.
- 10) Supernatural – The boys freed the devil from hell and brought about The End of Days!
- 9) Curb Your Enthusiasm – Two Words: Seinfeld Reunion
- 8) Chuck – There are few shows that make me laugh more than “Chuck.”
- 7) Friday Night Lights – There is no show that does angst better than “FNL.”
- 6) Big Love - Forget the religious undertones, “Big Love” is one of the best dramas on TV.
- 5) Damages – Easily one of the smartest shows on TV.
- 4) Breaking Bad – I don’t like sad and depressing shows. That’s why you never see me comment on “Mad Men” “Sons of Anarchy” or “Rescue Me.” But Bryan Cranston does an amazing job of making “Breaking Bad” watchable.
- 3) True Blood – Season 1 was ok, but season 2 took off!
- 2) Dexter – I wasn’t happy with the season finale, but it capped off “Dexters” best season ever.
- 1) Lost – There can be no other. I’ve spent more time writing and thinking about “Lost” than any other show on air. It’s easily in my top five of all time favorite shows and I’m counting down the days till the final season.
Honorable Mentions: Greek, 30 Rock, Party Down, The Big Bang Theory

Not everyone in the picture above survived last week’s “Supernatural” and I was completely shocked! When the character(s) died I didn’t think anything of it. I figured the episode was a “Days of Future Past” or a fake memory or something. So when it ended and it hit me that the deaths were legit I didn’t know what to think. The character(s) is/are long time character(s) and BAM they just got written off? Whoa! It really is End of Days.

I’ve seen tonight’s “Supernatural” and it is hilarious. Paris Hilton guest stars as a fame seeking demon who possess Paris Hilton. If if you’re not a fan of the show, you should consider watching it tonight. It’s that funny. Plus it offers a lot of metaphors and jokes about our current culture and views on celebrity.

Castiel: An archangel. The one who killed me. His name is Raphael.
Dean: You were wasted by a teenage mutant ninja angel?

If you are a fan of genre TV then you are an idiot if you don’t watch “Supernatural.” The show has really grown and found it’s voice.
The humor is top notch. For example, in the premier there was a scene where a girl of the “fake book series” was working on homo-erotic fan fiction. It sounds ridiculous but people (at least some comic & animie fans) write that kind of stuff!
Then you factor in angels, demons, the apocalypse and Lucifer, the show is a must watch!

In some interesting news, Mark Pellegrino, who appeared as the mysterious Jacob on “Lost” has been cast as Lucifer on “Supernatural.” No word yet on how many episodes he’s been hired for, but since last season ended with him escaping from hell and this season is all about him taking over the world, I’m sure it’s more than just a few episodes.

I’ve liked Callum Blue since I first saw him on “Dead Like Me” so I feel sorry that he’s been cast as Zod on “Supernatural.” Has his career gotten so bad taht “Smallville” is the best he can do? Sure the sure use to be watchable, but now it’s just painful.

The CW sent out a press release today, announcing their fall premier dates. The only big news is that “Gossip Girl” and “One Tree Hill” are switching time slots.

CW Renews “Smallville” Supernatural” “Gossip Girl” “One Tree Hill” and “90210″
February 25th, 2009 | by Scott King
The CW announced yesterday that they are renewing a huge list of shows. “Smallville,” “Supernatural,” “Gossip Girl,” “One Tree Hill,” and “902190″ will be back next year while “America’s Next Top Model” is safe for two more cycles. As for the rest of CW’s shows: “Privileged,” “The Game,” “Reaper,” and “Everyone hates Chris,” things aren’t looking good.

Oh heck yeah, the Winston boys are back in town! So this is just a freindly reminder to all you “Supernatural” fans that the show returns tonight. I wasn’t lucky enough to get a screener of the first two episodes (which apparently arrived with a Bible), so I’m super excited to see how Dean gets out of hell. P.S.:That really really bad Superman show is back tonight too.

Eric Kripke did gave a very sarcastic answer during an interview that cracked me up:
And then about the finale, “No Rest for the Wicked,” I assume Jensen Ackles’ character dies and that’s the last we’ll see of him on the show? Yes, Jensen wanted to focus on movies, and he wouldn’t give me the 25 percent salary kickback I demanded, so he’s leaving the series. Chad Michael Murray is joining the cast to replace him, and next year will be like that season on Dukes of Hazzard where it was Vance and Coy instead of Bo and Luke. Everything’s gonna be a little bit off, but it’ll be good…I think you’ll like it.

This is the oddest cameo I’ve
“We have Jason from Friday the 13th, the character with the hockey mask,” show creator Eric Kripke tells the “Supernatural” fanzine. “He shows up in episode 10. We have cleared the rights to actually use Jason. We have a twist on it so it is not really Jason out there but we have found an interesting way to bring him in so Sam and Dean fight Jason from Friday the 13th. In our world, that is a pretty cool guest star.”

Word on the street is that “Supernatural” wanted to bring back Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but that JDM’s schedule is so booked that they couldn’t. So don’t expect Daddy Winchester to show up during sweep months.
“Supernatural” Adds Two Females to the Cast
July 23rd, 2007 | by Scott King
“Supernatural” is adding two female roles to the show who will be series regulars. A lot of fans are upset about this because they feel the girls will obviously be love interests for Sam and Dean. This has caused the shows executive producer to give one of the best quotes I’ve heard all summer:
“We are not turning into One Tree Hill with monsters – I swear. I’d rather put a gun in my mouth.”
Other than that AWSOME quote… the interview here is actually a decent interview. It talks about why they added the women and the general direction of next season. The two women being added to the show will be monster hunters and will be played by Katie Cassidy and Lauren Cohan. I’m not familuar with Cassidy but Cohan was the really hot chick from “Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj.”
