"DAD!" follows
the life of my father, Kevin King, over the course
of four weeks. Although he's only 48, he suffers
from chronic health problems and hasn't been healthy
for over a decade. The graphic novels uses photographis
and the people/situations are real.
"DAD!" could have been
made as a traditional documentary, but comic books,
as a medium, was more fitting. A graphic novel is
more personal and can be paced completely different
form a movie.
The graphic novel is estimated to be
188pages. Like life, it has moments that are funny
and make you smile, while others are horrible and
bring tears to your eyes.
